The Lodge is very private and quiet, with all the modern amenities one could ask for, ranging from a swimming pool and hot tub, extensive video library, fishing, kayaking and the biggest, warmest beds you could ever imagine... the sweetest song you will hear are the Sandhill Cranes piercing the silence during the morning hours, calling you to the sunrise, which must be viewed from the dock for it's full breathtaking effect. . . . I must tell all women who want to experience peace on earth, this is the place. Whatever the occasion, just go there.

The weekend was everything we could have hoped for. We loved the remote and beautiful location on the river, and were thrilled to stand outside and hear the haunting call of the sandhill cranes. Our room was large and luxurious, and our private kitchen and bath exceedingly well stocked. We highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a romantic and pampered getaway!

Lynne and I found a dream place for rest and renewal ... in Saugatuck. . . the P'town of the Midwest! (The lodge) is nestled on over 40 wooded acres. It's peaceful here, with woods, wetlands, open fields, as well as swans, loons, woodchuck and deer. You can canoe and kayak, snowshoe and cross-country ski. There's also the hammock, hot tub, and heated swimming pool! The Sunrise room has a panoramic view of the dawn colors reflected in the river. . . . The amenities are perfect. . . . All this and the sensation of true peacefulness draw us back, in all seasons. You must not miss this experience!
